The State Museum of Natural History was opened for the visitors in 1870 and holds a museum, research and educational activities. The museum was built at the turn of the 18th –19th centuries and has the oldest in Europe mechanical elevator.
In 2012 the building underwent a full repair, as a result all its halls were renovated.
The Museum is located 100 m from Rynok Square which makes it an easily accessible central location next to a number of hotels. The conference room is located on the attic of the museum. It is spacious and has the coffee break space. On your way to the conference room you will pass some exhibition halls of the museum. There is also a cosy courtyard where participants could breathe some fresh air and relax during a break.
