Lviv Museum of the History of Religion is a cultural institution located within the former Dominican Monastery.
Originally constructed in the 2nd half of the 14th century, it is one of the very few museums in the world with such an imposing collection of materials telling the story of the world’s religions, beginning with the oldest religion on the teritory of Ukraine and including Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam and others.
A Conference Hall for 100 people is in a beautiful room with arched ceiling and entrance to the museum’s court yard.
This museum has more than 50,000 exhibits, most of which are unique, including interesting collections of icons from the 16th–19th centuries and a set of Torahs and Bibles.
The museum also hosts pipe organ concerts.
