Andriy Pavliv – Director of Lviv Convention Bureau took part in online conference «Development of Business Tourism and MICE through Internal Events», organized by State Agency for Tourism Development.
The participants of the event, including MICE experts, from Kyiv and Lviv, discussed the prospects for the development of MICE and business tourism in Ukraine, the role of the state in this process and the target markets to work with.
Andriy Pavliv shared Lviv’s experience in inviting international conference events before and during quarantine. He mentioned what projects the bureau is implementing today, how the team focused on the national market during the pandemic, how they support and help the industry.
In 2021, LCB will implement the Support Package for National and International Conferences to be held in Lviv. 45 winners will receive additional funding for their activities, special offers from local businesses and professional support from the bureau.

In 2020, LCB team initiated a free offline studio with basic technical equipment for online conferences, which was used by more than 30 event organizers. This year LCB managed to expand the offers of free locations, technical partners. View by link.
During the quarantine, LCB updated website, where event organizers can find a database of conference locations, hotels, restaurants, offline studios, service providers in Lviv. Find more details.
The pandemic did not stop Lviv Honorary Ambassadors Program. In 2020, 9 new Ambassadors were elected, with whom work is already underway to attract national, local and international events. Candidates for the title of Ambassador can already be recommended on the program’s website.
