On March 5-7, 2017 Lviv was presented at MICE business forum “MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2017”, held in Riga, Latvia. The event, organized by European Congress for the seventh time, successfully combined pre-scheduled face-to-face meetings, educational sessions, plenty of networking opportunities and social events.

The forum brought together about 100 hosted buyers and nearly 60 exhibitors from Central and Eastern Europe. The boutique event format met organizers’ goals to put all the attention on the building of relations between the two selected participant sides and achieve synergy in finding mutually beneficial business solutions.

The delegates of Lviv Convention Bureau held 35 B2B meetings with interested companies from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, India, the UK and Israel. As a new direction for conferences, including scientific, corporate travels and incentives, Lviv attracts international meeting planners by affordable prices, convenient air links and unique tourist products.

Another possibility to promote the city was Lviv presentation at the keynote “Insight into the CEE region as MICE destination” along with Berlin, Vilnius, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Prague, Riga and Croatia. Hosted buyers’ positive feedbacks and offers of cooperation revealed their great interest in the city.

International meeting planners will have a chance to explore the city and evaluate its business potential during the next fam-trip, scheduled for June.
