According to the World University Rankings, Lviv Polytechnic National University occupies the highest position among Ukrainian universities.
According to the results of this year’s rankings of the best universities in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which were formed among 11 fields of knowledge, Lviv Polytechnic National University is included in the rankings in four fields:
- computer science;
- business and economy;
- engineering;
- physical sciences.
The subject ratings use 13 indicators (the same as in the world rating), grouped into five categories: teaching, research, citations, international cooperation, income from knowledge transfer.
The right to participate in the subject rating is determined by two criteria: the threshold of the number of publications in the field of knowledge and the threshold of the number of scientific and pedagogical workers in this field.
