More than 150 events and about 20,000 participants – that’s about 30th anniversary Lviv International Literary Festival BookForum. The theme of this forum is “Census of the Future”: life, happiness and culture during and after the war.
The events took place at several locations in Lviv’s city center, taking into account all security measures. The main event of the BookForum was at the Gunpowder Tower. The book fair was held nearby in the park. Also, in the Lviv Academic Regional Puppet Theater, a traditional night (evening) of poetry and music was held, where “Pyrig i batig” and the poetry collective “Landschaft” played.
This year, book showcases presented more than 50 publishing houses, and also presented 2 collective stands – “Comics” and “Books about the Russian-Ukrainian War”.
