On December 8-9, several hundred cultural representatives, museum workers, potential sponsors and patrons from all over Ukraine and abroad got together in Lviv on the international forum ‘Cultural front: the art of victory’. The event was aimed at keeping the world’s attention on russia’s crimes against the cultural heritage of Ukraine. The Lviv Bureau of European Integration joined the organization of the event.
Among the speakers of the forum were representatives the U.S. Embassy, foreign partners, state managers, cultural figures, heads of cultural foundations, restorers, university professors, heads of organizations and many people working on the preservation of cultural heritage.
They talked about russian crimes in the field of culture, preservation, restoration of historical and cultural heritage, cultural diplomacy and policy of Ukraine in conditions of external aggression.
The forum was held with the support of: the Department of Press, Education and Culture of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
