The Voskresinnia Lviv Academic Theatre

The Voskresinnia Lviv Academic Theatre was established in 1990 on the wave of social transformations and Ukraine’s regained independence. The theater’s repertoire combines the traditions of psychological theater and modern art forms, Ukrainian and world drama. Since 1992, the Golden Lion Theater Festival has been revived on the basis of the Voskresinnia Theater. In 1994, this festival acquired the status of the International and today is one of the brightest theater forums in Ukraine. Today, the Voskresinnia Theater is one of the brightest bands in Ukraine, playing 190 performances a year, including 50-60 performances in different countries around the world. The theater works both on stage and on the street. Street performances enchant with their atmosphere, acting and various effects that affect the viewer and make him think about the beauty that exists in us and outside of us. The Theater is a member of IETM and IFEA.
