According to the World University Rankings, Lviv Polytechnic National University occupies the highest position among domestic universities.
According to the results of this year’s rankings of the best universities in the world Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which were formed among 11 branches of knowledge, Lviv Polytechnic National University is included in the rankings in four fields:
- Computer Science;
- Business & Economics;
- Engineering;
- Physical sciences.
In subject rankings, 13 indicators (the same as in the world rankings) are used, combined into five categories: teaching, research, citation, international cooperation, proceeds from the transfer of knowledge.
The right to participate in the subject ranking is determined by two criteria: the threshold of the number of publications in the field of knowledge and the threshold of the number of scientific and pedagogical employees in this field.
