On 6-9 June international meeting planners and representatives of travel agencies visited Lviv for a FAM-trip. The participants of the FAM-trip came from Lithuania, Austria, Germany, Turkey and, for the first time, India. For 4 days international guests have been doing site inspections of hotels, conference infrastructure, and unique city venues, as well as met the City Mayor and representatives of MICE-industry.
To get to know the conference services of the city, the participants examined Premier Hotel Dnister, Kavalier Boutique Hotel, Citadel Inn Hotel & Resort, Astoria Hotel and Leopolis Hotel. Visits to the unique locations for large-scale special events, such as the House of Scientists, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre continued the site inspection.
In the following days, international meeting planners visited the city’s largest conference hall at the Lviv Arena and the new art space “Lvivarnya”, held meetings with Lviv City Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and the director of the LvivMozArt Festival Oksana Sydor.
City tours such as “Lviv Night Guard”, “Lviv on the verge of sky” and “From Walk to Drink” helped foreign guests to get to know Lviv history. They found out a huge diversity and conceptuality of Lviv cafes and restaurants.
“I would like to thank you again for such a great and informative FAM-trip in Lviv. It was really well organized and I believe, that all of us found Lviv as a new and worthy to visit destination and to be promoted between our clients. I was very surprised, that you have so many interesting activities and there is no end – so creative you all are”, admitted one participant from Lithuania.
Next month she is planning to bring a group from Lithuania to Lviv.
