On February 25–26, 2022, a Scientific Symposium with international participation “Cardiovascular diseases in the practice of a family doctor: diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention” will be held remotely from Lviv and Kyiv on the basis of the National University of Health of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyk and Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytskyy.
The co-organizers are the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Societies and the Association of Cardiovascular Care of Family Medicine NGO. More than 2500 doctors from all regions of Ukraine and foreign countries will participate.
The lecture will be delivered by speakers from the University of Cambridge MD, PhD, MRCS Yaroslav Rospopa, MBBS, FRCS Kay Wong (UK). The Presidium of the Symposium will work from the conference hall of the Main Building of Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytskyy (69 Pekarska str.).
The Symposium will begin with COVID-19 and family medicine questions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular complications. The first report will be delivered by Ivan Chopey, President of the Ukrainian Association of Family Medicine, Professor of Uzhgorod National University. Also professors of the National University of Health of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyk, the National Medical University named after O.O. Bohomolets and the Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytskyy will speak.
